Today in cybersmart we had to pick four Matariki stars ,we then had to put pictures related to the stars and write the meanings of each one, we also added Maori designs on the stars and put the pictures related to the stars on the inside of the star, we also did backgrounds that represented each of the stars.
Cybersmart Challange
Today in cybersmart we learnt about not sharing your private information online and to always ask someone for their permission before posting their picture online, we should always respect someone’s privacy if they don’t want you to post their picture online and that it’s ok if they say no.
India’s first robot teacher

Today at tech we learned about step by step instructions ,we had to rearrange sentences to be in the right order,we also learned about the first teacher robot that india built to teach the children while the teacher is busy, I think the most challenging thing we did at tech today was rearranging the sentences because, how many paragraphs there were and because we had to read them to see if they make sense.
Samoan Patterns
Today in Cybersmart Lawren and I learned how to make Samoan patterns using google drawing tools. We also learned the meaning behind the Samoan patterns. The meaning of the samoan patterns ,Samoan patterns represent community, power, status, respect, honor and is a mark of pride only to be worn by Samoan.

Cybersmart

During our session with Ms Grant,we used Google earth to explore other schools,we also used arrows and labels to highlight the differences and similarities between the schools, Paroa School was very interesting since it was right next to a beach.
The similarities between the two schools is that they both have sports field except Paroas School field is more bigger.
The difference between the two schools is that Paroa school is right next to a beach and Glen Innes isn’t.
Tech With Mr Grundy
Every Tuesday at tech,Mr Grundy (our tech teacher) taught us the process of making a pendant out of pewter. The first step to making an pendant was to plan what your design was going to be. We’d then have to tell Mr Grundy that we were done planning so that he would help us on what to do after.
What I found challenging is tryna figure out what someone likes so that I could choose who to make it for since I didn’t really know what anyone really liked or what they would want if I chose to make the pendant for them and they might not like it.
I want my readers to comment about how to make a pendant and the process of making an pendant and how to make one out of pewter.
